Artemis Street Dance Company - competitive crews, shows and annual exams.

Street is the parent style for Hip Hop, Commercial and more. ASDC covers multiple styles but stays true to our Street roots.

New dancers attend class to try out (subject to space) and must be able to attend competitions, shows and other events.

Places in the crews are limited and our dancers work hard and aim for a Worlds USA bid in 2026.

Taught by Worlds level teachers, in the stunning mansion at South Hill Park Arts Centre.

Classes incorporate technique work and rehearsal for shows and events.

Crews (shows and competitions)

  • Breakout (Junior) (9 - 14yrs) *Audition

    Thursdays 5-7pm. £120 term.

  • Legion (Senior Open) (14- 19++yrs) *Audition

    Thursdays 7-9pm. £120 term.

  • All training is at South Hill Park Arts Centre, RG12 7PA.

  • All team members must tryout and be offered a place.

  • Split payment options are available, including tax free childcare.

  • We can help parents with advice on claiming fees back if they are on UC.

About Joe and his team

Joe is an Artemis College and Studios graduate, who now teaches in our college as well as directing our teen theatre company Medusa.

He performed in our Street company for five years, winning national titles, and in 2024 represented Artemis and England at the dance World Cup in Prague, where he and his team brought home the silver medal!

Joe continues as a performer when he is not teaching or directing and is appearing in two shows in spring 2025. He also works in media and production.

Joe has an epic team supporting him at Artemis Street dance Company. Sophia and Finn are both Worlds level dancers, and up coming choreographers.

Both tutor on the two dance companies but also dance with the seniors leading at events and shows.

Sophia is training in dance full time at Artemis College and has been working under a mentor as a tutor for our Junior companies for two years.
